Andrewina Mackintosh; Queen Mary's Army Auxiliary Corps; she served in France from 30-7-17 to 8-8-18. Her service record exists which shows that she was born in 1896 in Aberdeen, and at the time of enlistment, was a shorthand typist. She was hospitalised in August 1918 with a diagnosis of neurasthenia due to the effect of air raids. She returned to the UK and was discharged on compassionate grounds in May 1919 as she was required urgently as an assistant manageress by one R. Gillies.
