Thomas; he served on HMS Irresistible and survived her sinking at the Dardanelles in March 1915 and was transferred immediately to HMS Inflexible; this ship was present at Jutland; Thomas Dixon was lent to the Royal Australian Navy in 1920 for a term of 2 years; however, he died of TB on 21st November 1921 at the Wentworth Sanatorium, New South Wales.
