Joseph. He was seconded for duty with Inland Water Transport on 8th May 1918 – his MIC shows Mesopotamia as the theatre. He was appointed a Deputy Assistant Director of Inland Water Transport on 17th April 1919 with the rank of Major. Relinquishing his commission on 3rd February 1920, he was granted the rank of Major.
