James Field Strudwick. Served in A Battery from 11th November 1914 and later transferred to Royal Field Artillery. Mentioned in Despatches, London Gazette 22nd June 1915 -- one of ten other ranks. Awarded the Military Medal in the London Gazette of 27th October 1916. Died of Wounds France and Flanders 3-11-18 whilst serving with D Battery, 77th Brigade RFA. Buried Cambrai East Military Cemetery. Born Storrington, Sussex; enlisted Brighton
