Harry. He served with the 1st battalion in India and went into Army Reserve. He was recalled for service in World War 2 and advanced to sergeant. (It is not known whether he served in France in 1940.) At 5 p.m. on 5th May 1943, 1/KSLI took part in the critical assault north of Djebel-Bou-Aoukaz with the objective of capturing Tunis, during which he was killed in action. He is buried in Massicault War Cemetery, Tunisia
