Richard. He served in South Africa as a member of the RWF Militia battalion and was entitled to a KSA (bars: SA 1901 and SA 1902). He served in France with the 1st battalion from 2-11-14 (so entitled to a 1914 star trio) and was awarded the Military Medal (London Gazette 14-12-16). He transferred to the South Wales Borderers (number: L-39994) and then to the Labour Corps (number: 515894).
