Philip Robert; he was a tailor by occupation. He served initially with 43rd Company (Suffolk) but later served as no: 162, Natal Field (Volunteer) Artillery from 30-9-1899 to 31-12-1901 and is entitled to Queen’s South Africa Medal with bars Cape Colony, Orange Free State, Transvaal, Elandslaagte, Tugela Heights, Relief of Ladysmith and Laing’s Nek.
