Frederick William Joseph. He was born about 1858 in Gillingham, Kent and enlisted in 1872 at the age of 14. He married in 1886 having achieved the rank of Serjeant. He served with A Troop, Royal Engineers in Egypt and is entitled to Egypt 1882-84 medal with bar Tel-El-Kebir. He became a Chelsea Pensioner in 1897 and died in 1918.
